1. Kraft Dinner ("KD").
Although marketed almost identically with the more commonly known name "Kraft Macaroni and Cheese" south of the 49th, it tastes better in Canada. Any Canadian will tell you so! (the Canadian band "The Barenaked Ladies" even mentions it in their song, If I Had A Million Dollars: "If I had a million dollars, we wouldn't have to eat Kraft Dinner. But we would eat Kraft Dinner, of course we would we'd just eat more.")2. Russell Peters.
A comedian who gets me rolling on the floor with his immigrant and other multi-cultural stories and jokes.3. Corner Gas.
The guy who plays the main character on this Canadian sitcom's real name is Brent Butt. With a name like that he's probably had to be hilarious his whole life just to stay sane!4. Poutine.
Fries topped with cheese curds and gravy...go to your nearest Canadian A&W to try this fabulous combination. Yummmm!5. Boston Pizza.
A casual sit down restaurant with a billion types of pizza, not to mention greaaaaat cheesecake.

You're totally right. The Kraft Dinner thing... so weird. Miss the poutine so bad! Gravy should always be served with fries... brown gravy not country white! Come on! And love that Boston pizza! Oh sooooo good! I also miss the nacho fries at Taco Bell. Still haven't found them here. And isn't it nuts the Canadian dollar is now worth more than the weak lil' US dollar? Nuts!
Oh and Superstore... miss the bulk items. You choose how much you want to buy. Why doesn't every store offer this!?
I'M MOVING BACK TO CANADA DANGIT!
hi "lorebitxi",
I can't seem to write back to you except to leave a comment here! if you leave your email address I can tell you how I put the background on my site. it's not too hard, but too long to write on here!
Allison! Hi! Sunny here. (I'm Patty's niece; I hope you remember me ... as I try to avoid posting details like last names on the Internet...!) My sis led me to your and Natalie's blogs, much to my happiness. ;) I'm surprised that after so many stops in so many varied places for both of us since our marriages, life has landed us remarkably close to one another! E-mail me when you can? fourfabfoldings@hotmail.com
