And We're Off...

Rather suddenly we came across the opportunity to fly north yet again to be reunited with family and we jumped at the chance! Unfortunately our breadwinner had to stay behind (boo American stupid only two weeks of holidays a year-!!). It's been nice to be back, especially at this time of year. We're usually back in winter and I had forgotten how beautiful it is here in summer!

Tomorrow Caitlin and I will head 600km south with my parents and sister to the Rocky Mountains, where we'll take part in the beloved ARWC (Alberta Rockies Wilderness Camp) from which I have been absent for too many summers. It'll be Caitlin's first week of camping too, and from how much she already loves the outdoors I think she'll have a blast. A week of fellowship, fun, and always-spectacular views of the surrounding wilderness awaits!
