Me: (to the kids) How about omelets for supper?
Caitlin: I don't like omelets.
Me: Do you even know what an omelet is?
C: Yeah, but I don't like it.
Me: What do you think it is?
C: But I don't like it.
Me: It's eggs with cheese.
C: Oh yes, I do like that!
(about a minute later)
Caitlin: But Connor doesn't like omelets, Mama.
